What you will be doing
You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to join the Quality Team at the US Final Assembly line. In this role you will be supporting the manufacturing of the A220 and A320 commercial aircrafts, and be involved in:
Quality Operations: Understand and support the quality of aviation production in support of federal aviation requirements
Quality Conformance: Manage quality improvement initiatives to reduce costs, lead time and volume of non-quality. Improve customer satisfaction of both internal and external customers. Identify and eliminate root causes of non-quality. Ensure compliance to requirements. Work within multi-function teams to carry out improvements across the organization
Quality Engineer: Guarantee the conformity of a product/service to the requirements specified by our customers, and support on quality on-time and on-cost delivery by delivering the right first time to increase customer loyalty. The appropriate procedures, standard equipment, conditions, and technicians. Moreover, you will ensure that a measurement management system is put in place and managed to achieve metrological confirmation and continual control of measurement processes.
Quality Assurance: Utilizing the tools and process of the Airbus QMS, Quality Management System, and operation of the FAL-USA to monitor for continued compliance and where gaps are identified to initiate action and provide visibility to Management and the required network.
Graduates will have 4 rotations through various departments in support of Quality.
The rotations will be customized and designed according to the skillsets and interests of each participant, and the needs of the business across the A220 and A320 lines. The goal of the program is to introduce participants to several Quality roles throughout an aviation production facility. Graduates of this program will get a big picture view of the Mobile Manufacturing Site and how all of the pieces come together to deliver industry-leading commercial aircrafts.

To be a successful applicant to this position on the Airbus Global Graduate Program, you must be able to demonstrate:
Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English). Conversational level French is a plus, but not required.
A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.
A desire to drive your own learning, ask questions, and continuously learn and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced commercial manufacturing environment.
The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
What you will need to apply
Education:
Required: Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Business, Engineering Project Management, Engineering or related field.
A strong curriculum emphasis on industrial, mechanical, and structural engineering would be beneficial, but is not required.
A Master's Degree in Engineering and/or a minor in Computer Science would be beneficial, but is not required.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies and six sigma principles
Project leadership experience and familiarity with project milestone planning
Specific Experiences / Interests:
Maximum of three years relevant work experience.
Basic knowledge of project management and lean manufacturing. .
Interest in growing your career in a manufacturing environment. Exposure to a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Proficiency with G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Apps Script).
Coding in Python would be beneficial but not essential to apply.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for this position, you must be able to work in the US without a current or future need for visa sponsorship.
Relocation:
A modest relocation package is available for this position for those who qualify based on location. By applying, you agree to be located in the job location by June 16th, 2024.
Start Date:
For the US AGGP positions, you must be able to start June 17th, 2024. Any exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis and must be listed in the cover letter.
Travel:
As part of the development plan for this position, travel may be required for 5% of this position.
