Marketing Intern (Remote, Hybrid option)
Are you interested in a specific area of marketing, or do you want to pick an option based on your strengths and experience? Are you looking to gain hands-on experience will directly impact Vectorworks’s brand awareness?
In this internship you can join one of 5 teams focusing on either creating content for social media channels and blogs, on customer retention and loyalty, on inbound marketing, on tradeshow and brand events or on international lead generation activities. The marketing team drives sales and generates leads by producing compelling brand stories that resonate with our local and global audiences.
During This Internship You Will
- Collaborate with designers, product marketing, sales, and external stakeholders to create engaging brand stories.
- Execute marketing campaigns, including email promotions and social media initiatives.
- Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and conduct market research.
- Contribute to customer retention and loyalty initiatives.
- Assist in organizing logistics for trade shows and brand events.
- Explore international leads and marketing strategies in other countries.
Here Is What Success Looks Like:
- Proven research, writing, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with digital media, social networks, and blogging.
- Ability to develop initiatives meeting brand objectives and metrics.
- Experience with email marketing platforms like HubSpot, MailChimp, Constant Contact or others.
- Prior experience with Google Ads/Analytics is a plus but can be learned!
- Being an open-minded learner ready to explore new tools and technologies including AI tools like Chat GPT.
- Motivation to thrive in team environments and work independently.
2024 Internship session:
Spring: January 16 - May 10
Summer: June 10 - Aug. 16
Fall: Sept.16 – Dec 6
The ultimate goal of our internship program is to provide students with a learning and training experience that will allow them the opportunity to apply the skills learned in the classroom in a professional work environment. Although, we would like to offer interns the opportunity to join our workforce on a full-time basis, an offer for a full-time position after an internship is not guaranteed.
Eligibility requirements for internships:
- Spring & Fall internships require 16-20 hours of work per week. Summer is 40 hours per week.
- You must be at least 18 years of age, enrolled in an undergraduate program in your Sophomore, Junior or Senior year.
- This is a paid internship and compensation will be based on applicant's qualifications. We currently do not provide housing, relocation, or transportation reimbursement. This is an on-site position.
- Interns are not eligible for company benefits.
