Position Title:  Teaching Assistant

Hourly Wage:  $15.00

Number of Openings:  1

Average Hours/ Week:  8-10 hours per week

General Purpose:

Seeking a Teaching Assistant (Grader) to assist in Herron's Design Thinking 101 online course.  In this role, you will support the instructor by grading and providing feedback on weekly project work submitted by students.   Ideal will have taken graduate course work in design thinking or innovation.

Job Duties and Skills

  • Must be familiar with the Design Thinking process emphasizing innovation, creativity, and problem solving through people-centered research.
  • Provide feedback to others who are learning about design thinking concepts.
  • Ability to write some explanatory passages with accurate grammar would be useful.

Desired Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled as a graduate student at IUPUI
  • Strong attention to detail
