Design Engineering Coop - Centralia, MO
A Coop position at Hubbell Power Systems in Centralia, MO is a 6 month (semester) long opportunity for a Mechanical Engineering Student to work alongside Design Engineers. Some of the general duties include:
- Create Test Reports
- Create 3D models
- Assist product engineers in NPD projects
- Assist with field testing and lab testing
- Create sourcing documents
- Drawing changes
Coops allow students to work full time within the Engineering departments (Lineman Tools & Equipment, and Civil/Construction Business Units) compared to a standard summer internship during the Coop assignment. Hubbell is a local company (within 30 minutes of Columbia, MO) and is dedicated to providing students with an excellent learning opportunity. Many of our current Engineers were former Coops of Hubbell.

Division Overview
Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities.
