MD&A is looking for a highly motivated summer intern to assist our corporate accounting team in Latham, NY with the day to day functions, as well as special projects needed to support all the divisions within our business. This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will complete the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of accounting and business administration. This internship is an opportunity starting Summer 2023 which would continue through the school year. Student will work between 30-35 hours per week during summer months, continuing into the semester the internship would switch to 15-20 hours per week. This is an in-person internship experience. It is a paid internship at $21/hour. The company is willing to offer as credit bearing.

- Preparation of Account Reconciliations
- Cash Management and Forecasting
- Financial Reporting Activities
- Preparation of Financial presentations
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management
- Fixed Assets Accounting
- Assist in the documentation and execution of internal controls
- Special projects as needed
- Help drive efficiency within the company through process improvement and automation

Requirements
Our Company is looking for an undergraduate student in the Albany area who is majoring in Accounting and entering their Junior, Senior or Masters year. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, Excel and PowerPoint.
