At MidwayUSA, we are looking for a Database Engineering Intern who are excited by new technologies, and outpacing competitors. Your ideas count, so we need you to be smart and able to get things done.
A Database Engineering Intern with MidwayUSA is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and performance of database environments and their reporting counterpart. This person will also participate in new projects to identify the best means of storing and retrieving the information needed by new and existing applications.
Ideal candidates should have knowledge in standard concepts, practices and procedures related to database management as well as a good grasp of standard programming concepts.
To qualify for an internship with MidwayUSA, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- The intern should be within 12 months of completing all requirements for graduation from an accredited program.
- Able to work approximately 16 hours per week/2 hour block minimum at a time, during the school year and full-time when school is not in session.
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA
- Enrolled in a qualified higher education program in a field related to the internship opportunity
