Summer 2024 Global Internship

We are now accepting applications for Samaritan's Purse Global Internship Program 2024 summer session! Samaritan’s Purse exists to provide spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world in Jesus’ name. The Internship Program seeks to provide college students and recent graduates with an opportunity to use their skills to impact a hurting world. The Program provides exposure to the operations and programs of an international relief and development organization and its ministry and evangelistic outreach efforts. Interns work alongside staff and receive on-the-job training in practical, technical, administrative, logistical, and ministerial duties while supporting current projects.

The summer term of the Internship Program begins on May 28, 2024 and concludes on August 2, 2024. Applications must be submitted no later than January 1, 2024.

A day in the life of an Intern:

At Samaritan’s Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotion and prayer. We hear from members of our staff, both from IHQ and our global offices, as well as special guest speakers who encourage us in God’s word. We then join together to pray for one another and for staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. We get paid to start each day this way!

The duties and responsibilities for the specific International and Domestic Internship positions will vary by department and location.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Interns should maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Christ.
• Obtaining or obtained a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
• Strong organizational, communication (written and verbal), and networking skills
• Analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills
• Ability to develop and carry out plans and solve problems independently

Job Location:

Samaritans Purse International Headquarters interns are based in Boone, NC and North Wilkesboro, NC. We also offer domestic internship opportunities at other sites nationwide.

Samaritans Purse International interns are placed based on the needs of our international field offices each term. Samaritan's Purse field offices include: Colombia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Niger, Liberia, Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Ethiopia, South Sudan, and Iraq.
