Digital Content Intern
Do you want to get paid to use Instagram? We thought that’d get your attention.
The Office of Marketing and Communications features a student digital content team that uses social media and the web to push out fun content about Carthage.
Here are some qualities we’re looking for:
Creativity
Many of this team’s projects will come from brainstorming sessions. There will be assigned tasks, but if you have an awesome idea, chances are you’ll get to run with it.
Reliability
You could be the most creative person on the planet, but that doesn’t mean much if you can’t finish a project on time, don't show up, or you leave your fellow team members hanging.
Ability to Work Well in a Team
A lot of projects require working in tandem with other team members and working together to make something good even better during a revision process.
Positive Attitude
The good news: You’ll get to do tons of creative projects and most will turn out great. The bad news: Some won’t, even if you put in a lot of work. It’s important to be able to take constructive criticism, solve problems, and move on.
Up to date on various social media trends
Yes, this means memes.
Willingness to occasionally put in hours on nights and weekends
A lot of events happen at night and weekends and sometimes you’ll need to be there.
A Love of Carthage
You’ll be representing Carthage. If you love Carthage, that’ll show through your work.
