Publicity Intern
JKS Communications seeks Publicity Intern for assistance on various aspects of the publicity campaigns. For this position, you will be assisting the JKS team (managers, publicists and assistants) on day to day campaign work and creative promotions. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
coordinating book and company mailings
researching media and event target lists
writing book summaries
listing client titles on NetGalley and following up with downloaders to encourage
online reviews
setting up Goodreads promotional giveaways and listopias
submitting client books for literary awards
coordinating advertisements
posting on social media for JKS and clients
updating the JKS master media and event lists
and other tasks, in a timely, deadline-focused manner.
