Logistics Sourcing Intern

The Logistics Sourcing Intern will be working closely with the Logistics Sourcing Team providing support in contract management, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and qualifying new transportation and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).

This position is eligible for a hybrid work model and is located in Racine, WI.

Responsibilities

• Review shipments in CNH Industrial's Transportation Management System (TMS) that are not paid correctly.
• Determine actual costs to be paid through researching shipment data and update shipments accordingly.
• Vet potential transportation providers.
• Review potential transportation provider qualifications to determine if they are qualified to haul freight.
• Interview providers who pass the qualification process to determine their areas of interest for hauling freight.
• Updating insurance for carriers given requirements and track on a monthly basis.
• Ensure all carrier safety ratings are up to date and accurate.
• Review financials for existing and potential new providers as part of the vetting process.
• Review carrier scorecards, determine areas that need to be improved and work with carriers to improve overall performance.
   

This position will pay between $19-$35.50/hour.

Qualifications

• Must be actively pursuing an associate, technical, bachelor’s, or post-graduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, or other related degree area.
