Advanced Purchasing Intern

The Advanced Purchasing Intern will be working with the Large Tractor Advanced Purchasing Team responsible for launching new products and maintaining our current products. The successful candidate will primarily interact with Purchasing, Engineering and Manufacturing teams within the company. The individual will support the Advanced Purchasing Team with projects related to best practices, assisting with data collection and analytics, and various purchasing activities. This intern will work on projects that have a real impact on the business. In doing so, they will learn how to make a plan, execute the plan and report out on their result. Furthermore, the projects will require the intern to have some creativity in solving the problem, they will not just be executing tasks. This will give them real life experience in approaching a problem creativity and developing the agility required to adjust their approach based on feedback that they receive throughout the process.
 

This position is eligible for a hybrid work model and is located in Burr Ridge / Oak Brook, IL.

Responsibilities

• Working with the Advanced Purchasing Team sourcing of components and project management.
• Development of tools to assist Advanced Purchasing in more effective program management.
• Creating financial and cost models.
• Creating tools for management of product development data and consolidating communication tools used by the global team.

This position will pay between $19-$35.50/hour.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering Agri-Business, or other related degree areas.
