Maintenance Engineer Intern

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineering Intern at our Burlington, IA location. This is an on-site position. Learn more below about the day-to-day work as a Maintenance Engineering Intern below:

Responsibilities

  • Support the Maintenance team and plant
  • Assist personnel with building preventative maintenance schedules
  • Create SOP's to accelerate future repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Evaluate available inventory of spare parts and determine proper quantities based on machine breakdowns and PM schedules
  • Assist in developing preventative maintenance plans for a variety of machines and facility items
  • Assist as needed in various projects to implement corporate strategies
  • Participate in weekly department meeting
  • Complete specific internship assignments, as requested

This position will pay between $19-$35.50/hour.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a minimum of a associate, technical, bachelor's, or post-graduate degree in Maintenance, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or other related degree.
