Instructional Design Intern

Department Description:

The Instructional Design Team is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of classroom instruction, webinars, and online training modules that meet the educational needs of the region's electricity stakeholders related to changes in the Tariff, software, and/or business procedures.

What will you be working on:

The intern will play a dynamic role that will ensure content is communicated in a clear and compelling manner, including rewriting and finalizing scripts for e-Learning. Uses e-learning development software to update existing online training courses or to develop new modules. Other related tasks include participating in the development of projects for other training initiatives.

How will you make an impact:

By participating in the development of projects, the intern will gain practical skills in instructional design, content development, and project management, making it a valuable experience for a future career in e-learning or related fields.

What we look for in a candidate:

  • Experience working with one or more of the following: e-learning development software (Articulate Presenter or Articulate 360, Storyline, Rise, Replay, etc.); graphic design, multimedia.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills


To be eligible for the internship candidate must have completed at least the first year of college and be currently enrolled in a four year or graduate-level academic program. Candidates must have the authority to work in the US on a permanent basis, without requiring sponsorship.
