Clinical Team Leader- In Home Therapy

FALL RIVER OR NEW BEDFORD, MA- Child & Family Services is looking for a Clinical Team Leader for our growing In Home Therapy team in Fall River/New Bedford! The Clinical Team Leader of the In-Home Therapy Program will provide weekly individual supervision to IHT staff with specialized training in child/adolescent issues, child serving agencies (e.g. DYS, DCF, DMH, DDS, DESE), mental health, family centered treatment, strengths-based interventions and wraparound planning process to the staff. In addition, the Clinical Team Leader will also carry a caseload of IHT clients based on program needs. This individual is directly responsible to the Program Director of the In-Home Therapy Program.

$3,000 Sign On Bonus (half at hire; half at 90-day anniversary)!

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completed Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or Clinical Mental Health Counseling from an accredited educational institution
  • Must have an active clinical licensure (LMHC, LICSW, LCSW) within the state of MA
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with a team, possess effective interpersonal skills and communication skills, and provide leadership to the program
  • Must have availability during evening/weekend hours is required
  • Experience providing direct supervision is preferred
  • Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle and a driving record that meets CFS Driver Policy

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • In conjunction with and as assigned by Program Director, provide training, supervision, and support to the Therapeutic Training and Support Staff
  • Assist Program Director with managing referrals and the waitlist
  • Maintain caseload of clients based on program needs
  • Perform one-on-one clinical and administrative supervision to staff on a weekly basis
  • Document all supervision performed
  • Support the Therapeutic Training and Support staff in skills development to work with children from diverse backgrounds, promote positive interactions families, and foster positive working relationships with providers and organizations
  • Support the program and its entire staff in developing skills in wraparound, care planning teams, care management, and crisis response and support
  • Monitor services, authorizations, program productions, documentation requirements and ensure staff compliance with policy, program procedures and performance specifications
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and quality management activities; ensure staff participation in training, evaluation, and quality management activities
  • Participate in committee meetings
  • Works with Program Director to complete and adhere to program budget
  • Process, assign and monitor referrals and waitlist; update MAHBA weekly and monthly
  • In the absence of Program Director, assists with all administrative duties needed
  • Assist Program Director with interviewing, hiring, and training staff
  • Assist Program Director with oversight of billing, units, and documentation practices
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with agency staff, supervisors and community contacts
  • Always maintain a high quality of work, professionalism and positive attitude
  • Maintain regular and timely attendance
  • Meet with supervisor weekly & participate in management team meetings
  • Participates in independent education and training opportunities
  • Maintain active clinical licensure
