The State Corporation Commission (SCC) is seeking upcoming college graduates interested in pursuing a rewarding public-service career! The SCC offers entry-level opportunities such as Associate Analysts, Auditors, Examiners, Investigators, and more. These positions offer on the job training as well as professional development opportunities including job-related certifications and designations. The SCC also offers career advancement and a flexible hybrid telework schedule (generally 2 days in the office, 3 days of telework each week).

Division staff members will provide on-the-job training to entry level employees entering the Assistant/Associate roles. A variety of professional development and training opportunities are offered to early career professionals and there are established career ladder in place for most positions. These positions offer remote work options. Some positions will eventually include some limited travel both in and out-of-state. (Note: Due to COVID-19 the SCC has temporarily suspended travel for some sections)

These positions will be classified in the SCC Salary Structure as a Grade P-7 and will be non-exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Preferred Qualifications
- Anticipated graduation dates between May 2023 - May 2024
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in an academic program listed above
- Proficiency with general office software applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely
- The ability to work effectively as a team member and to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the SCC, divisions and with outside constituents
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills, organizational skills, dependability, and the ability to multi-task are also important
