The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking to hire a student assistant to assist other engineers in the preparation of planning and programming documents, reviewing technical and other related documents, in a training capacity, under close supervision of a Senior Transportation Engineer/Project Manager/Design Manager/Permit Manager. The Student Assistant will also assist in a wide range of administrative services relating to the Encroachment Permits Office.
