The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking to hire an engineering student assistant for the engineering division in San Diego, California to assist in researching, identifying, developing, and coordinating engineering solutions associated with utility relocations and developing and populating the Caltrans utility database, in a learning capacity, under the supervision of a senior transportation engineer, district utility branch manager. The unit's designated lead worker and engineers will provide the student assistant with assignments and directions as needed.
