Speaker Event Volunteer | Indy Hunger Network

This is a one-time volunteering opportunity to support a Speaker Event, "How the Other Half Eats". Join us at the Jewish Community Center, 6701 Hoover Road, Indianapolis, IN 46260 on Thu Sep 28, 2023 from 5:30PM to 8:45PM.

You will be assisting with greeting guests, handling registration, managing parking, setting up and taking down signs, etc.

Free attendance to the event is included! Dr. Priya Fielding-Singh, Professor of Family and Consumer Studies at the University of Utah, will share insights from her book, How the Other Half Eats. Together, we will explore how inequality shapes the way we eat, and what that means for local food pantries.
