Market Supply Chain Summer 2024 Internship - San Diego, CA
PURPOSE
Responsible for performing a variety of Supply Chain activities for both our Dixieline Southern California and San Lorenzo Northern California regions under the leadership of Market Supply Chain.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To be exposed to all functions of our Regional Corporate San Diego Business Office as well as our Home Center model.
- Conducts analysis, reporting, price shop comparisons and in-person store reviews alongside our Regional Merchant team.
- Review Project Catalog, Sales File and Ad Signage with our Marketing Team.
- May coordinate workflow and communication between operating units, vendors and both internal & external customers.
- Assists with project-oriented tasks including office policy, methods & procedures and other.
- Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices to prevent injury to self or coworkers; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to efficiently organize, prioritize and manage tasks/projects
- Must be detail oriented and have a strong data analysis foundation
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (with emphasis in Excel, Word & Powerpoint)
- Home improvement industry knowledge is preferred
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in the following or related areas: Business Administration, Business Analitics, Business Management, MBA, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management.
- Prefer GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Prefer junior or senior level, but will consider other class levels.
