Orthopedic Medical Device Operations Internship

Program Overview: Elevate Surgical, proudly representing Arthrex products and surgical techniques, invites you to join our Operations Team in Honolulu, Hawaii, as an Operations Intern. This internship program offers a valuable learning experience within the medical device industry, where you will contribute to the efficient functioning of our operations process. As an intern, you will gain hands-on exposure to various aspects of inventory management, logistics, and customer service. You will have the opportunity to Interact with sales representatives and healthcare professionals, gaining exposure to all aspects of the medical device industry.

Duration: 12 weeks  Start Date:September 1, 2023 Compensation: $12/hour Hours: Flexible with class schedule

Key Responsibilities:As an Operations Intern, you will be an integral part of our Operations Team, supporting various tasks that contribute to the smooth flow of medical device sales and logistics.

  • Assist in preparing medical implant products for packaging and shipment.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Learn to use inventory management software to track and manage inventory levels.
  • Participate in cycle counts and audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Support the coordination of requests from field sales representatives.
  • Gain insights into compliance with FDA guidelines for biologic/tissue products.
  • Assist with logistics coordination for products needed in the field.
  • Contribute to maintaining efficient communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • Enrolled in a degree program.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic work environment.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
