Marketing Internship: Social & News Media
We are not an Apple, Google or Amazon. We are a small tech startup primarily run by high school and college interns. Yes, we are pre-revenue, thus the reason for our un-paid internships. But, we have a very powerful mission: reducing anxiety in teens worldwide while build happier friendships. If our mission resinates with you we would love to hear from you.
We have two options: Full school year or just fall semester

Last summer our internships were ranked #6 in the nation
Our mission is to find a mobile solution that actually helps solve the problem of increasing anxiety while at the same time building more resilient friendships in teens worldwide. SocialTech Labs brings together passionate, creative individuals across the globe.
SocialTech Labs, Inc., is working with the National Science Foundation under the iCAP program. We have been tasked with building a mobile application to help reduce anxiety and build happier, more resilient friendships in teens worldwide.
Requirements
Above all, we are looking for applicants who are passionate and committed to our cause and what we are trying to accomplish - helping teens worldwide just have a little easier life by reducing anxiety.
Responsibilities
- Search on IG and TikTok for influencers that align with our mission
- Send out DMs on IG and TikTok to potential influencers
- Participate on zoom calls with influencers to set up partnerships
- Beta Test the app with some of your friends
- Be part of the BrainStorming sessions to improve app from Beta Test feedback
- Our internships are virtual. We use video conferencing for our weekly calls. Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings

Qualifications
- Most important: Be in tune with the problem our efforts are trying to solve - while building something people want!
- Exceptional organization and communication skills
- You’re excited by complex tasks and the opportunities that ambiguity can offer
- Be self-driven by passion and able to find innovative ways to help the team
- Be proficient in Google docs, sheets, slides and forms
- Feel comfortable working remotely
