TFAS D.C. Summer Program 2024

Live in Washington, D.C. in apartment-style, furnished dorms on the campus of George Washington University. The centrally located dorm is within walking distance of a Metro train stop, the National Mall, grocery stores, and downtown living. Live with other program participants and gain a built-in social network (https://www.dcinternships.org/student-life/).

Learn from acclaimed professors and earn 3-6 academic credits from George Mason University. The courses are designed to complement your D.C. internship experience by offering a thorough examination of our free enterprise system and the economic way of thinking (https://www.dcinternships.org/academics/).

Intern in Washington, D.C. Gain real-world experience, grow your network and cultivate your professionalism with a guaranteed internship placement. Dedicated staff works to secure you an internship position that fits your interests, skills and career goals. Connect with program alumni and working professionals through a mentor program, networking roundtable dinners, and a series of career and industry exploration small group discussions. Our program will give you behind the scenes exposure to some of the city’s most influential institutions and organizations. TFAS is a nonprofit with the goal of bringing the country's best and brightest students to D.C. for life-changing programs. 85% of students attending TFAS programs are on full or partial awards based on merit and/or need.
