Interior Designer

 

Plan, design, furnish residential, commercial, corporate, institutional, and other spaces for architecture, interior design, construction, and real estate development firm. Design environments, create practical, aesthetic, and sustainable, layouts conducive to intended purposes. Design plans that are compliant with construction methods, building codes, regulations. Coordinate with professionals: contractors, architects, engineers, and others to ensure project success. Inspect on site work in progress, supervise project to ensure adherence to plans and construction documents, compliance with deadlines, deliverables, contract specifications. Use computer aided drafting and other software to produce detailed interior design drawings based on specifications. Attend meetings and advise clients on interior design factors including vision, space planning, layout, use of furnishings, lighting, materials, equipment, and color coordination. Provide periodic reports for clients on project progress.

 

·       Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (Interior Design). required.

·       Software skills: AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

·       Daily travel required to project sites in Tri-County area of South Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties).

·       Travel required in the U.S. once per year to attend trade shows and continuing education events.
