Program Assessment Intern
The person filling this position will be expected to do the following:
- Develop survey instruments through Qualtrics to assess the impact of advisor professional development programming at the University of Tennessee;
- Analyze program assessment data using SPSS and other technologies to find trends, e.g., impact of career longevity on an event’s perceived value;
- Clean data where necessary;
- Create charts, reports and presentations to organize and display the data;
- Present data to advising leaders and other constituents; and
- Assist with other assessment projects such as the Annual Advising and Student Success Conference evaluation.
Minimum qualifications include:
- pursuit of an undergraduate degree in social sciences (or related field)
- a basic knowledge of survey development and data management
- Basic knowledge of Qualtrics, SPSS or other data management software, and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills
Preferred qualifications include:
- Interest in a data-driven career field
- Quantitative research experience
