Legal Intern (Public Policy, Technology, & Finance)

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in law, with a passion for compliance, technology, intellectual property, and/or global regulations. You will have individual freedom to pursue your interests and grow along with the company.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various topics related to technology, intellectual property, and global regulations in the world of finance and crypto.
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and advising on legal contracts and documents.
  • Research and provide guidance on legal compliance in the areas of FinTech, blockchain, and digital assets.
  • Monitor and stay up-to-date with regulatory developments in the industry.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify legal risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with other departments to provide legal support and insights.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of legal policies and best practices.
  • Research legal prospects related to Heir8fied’s business development.
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's, Master's, or JD degree in Law.
  • Interest in technology, intellectual property, and global regulations, particularly in finance and crypto.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Full English working proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills (Scrum preferred).
  • Passion for blockchain, crypto, NFTs, and the Metaverse.


Projects:
  1. Intellectual Property & Regulations: Explore the legal landscape of intellectual property and global regulations in the world of finance and crypto, with a focus on blockchain technology and digital assets.
  2. Public Policy : Research and analyze the impact of technology on the legal profession and the regulatory landscape, and how LegalTech and RegTech solutions can be leveraged to improve efficiency, security, and transparency.
  3. Compliance & Risk Management: Assist with the development and implementation of legal compliance policies and risk management strategies, while ensuring adherence to local and international laws and regulations.

As an intern at Heirified, you will:
  • Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced start-up environment led by experienced industry professionals.
  • Collaborate on the development of the first global platform for digital and traditional wealth transfer.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Current student or recent graduate pursuing a bachelors or a JD.
  • Strong foundation in law, with a focus on technology, intellectual property, and global regulations.
  • Interest in the intersection of technology and law, particularly in finance, blockchain, and digital assets.
  • Demonstrated research and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and outreach skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
