This is a great training opportunity for students interested in teaching. Conversation partners (CP) work with assigned classes over the course of a semester. They are responsible for arranging meetings with all students in small groups of 2 to 3 students; they meet a designated number of times, usually (3 to 6 times) over the course of the semester, i.e.,once a month per group. CP's coordinate the conversation topics with the course instructor and provide regular feedback in the instructor’s GoogleLangShare, They make a copy of each lesson plan (1 per round of conversations) and save it in the ConvPard Lesson plan folder in the Proctors’ Stuff folder on the server. A

minimum of one hour regularly scheduled RC Asst time per week is required; lesson plans may be set up during this time and/or help with drop-in tutoring. Conversation sessions should be held in one of the RC spaces or one of the lounges on the 4th floor of Pardee. CP's are also encouraged to work a RC assistants.
