Nonprofit Medical Society Journal Coordinator - Senior Intern for Potential Permanent Position

FPIN (Family Physician Inquiries Network) is a 25 year old national non-profit medical society. We support thousands of members from nearly 200 departments of family medicine across the US, Canada, and China in their pursuit to publish medical research. To keep the FPIN community connected and moving forward with their research projects, our medical research publication coordinators respond to tons of email, keep their spreadsheets with pristine impeccability, enforce publication in ethics policies, and provide extraordinary customer service. Our staff affords the privilege to travel to medical conferences to serve as ambassadors for our organization. In addition, there are opportunities to travel to health institutions across the country to support onsite education programs. Last, but certainly not least, every individual who works or volunteers for our company enjoys a professional yet small family-oriented work culture with 50% remote work. In fact, our company one the "2022 Kindness in Business Award for Employees" sponsored by Missouri Business Alert (housed in the University of Missouri School of Journalism) and Children's Grove.
