Title: Writer – Career Service Associate
 
We are seeking a writer for our career services vertical, Employment BOOST. Are you comfortable speaking with individuals from every walk of life? Do you love helping people tell their stories? Are you interested in developing your writing skills in a new and distinct way? If so, we’d love to have you on our team.
 
About Us
As a rapidly growing player in the career services space, Employment BOOST leverages 20 years of experience to provide cutting-edge services including resumes, career coaching, LinkedIn updates, and webinars. We are growing both our B2C and B2B business lines, and we are continuing to diversify our service offerings.
 
The Role
The writer will provide essential Employment BOOST services, including resume writing, cover letter creation, and professional biography creation, among others. You’ll also be speaking directly with your clients over the phone and via video chat extensively. You should be aggressive in your approach to writing and navigating competing deadlines, and a flair for high-touch customer service is essential for aligning with our human-first customer service philosophy.
 
Key responsibilities include:
·        Work directly with clients from an array of backgrounds and industries
·        Conduct in-depth interviews over the phone and via video chat; perform research regarding relevant roles and market trends
·        Provide direct support to your clients over the phone; extensive client communication is a key part of this role
·        Write resumes, cover letters, professional biographies, and other content
·        Support clients through the entire customer journey
·        Proofread documents from other team members
·        Maintain data integrity and keep clear records of customer interactions and documents
·        Contribute writing skills for internal marketing efforts
·        Coordinate closely with other career services functions, such as career coaches, sales representatives, and leadership
·        Manage a roster of accounts with competing deadlines

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional writing experience preferred
·         An ability to read beyond the text, verbal or otherwise
