Medical Scribe
CritiCare Clinics is a small and independent Emergency Medical group that has served Baptist Health South Florida since 1998. We are guided by a philosophy of creating a practice environment that provides both superior care to our patients and a quality professional life and lifestyle for our physicians, mid-level providers and administrative staff.
We are currently looking for pre-health students who are interested in gaining clinical exposure by working as a medical scribe in the fast-paced environment of the urgent care setting!
Looking for first-hand experience working one-on-one with board certified physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners? Becoming a medical scribe will help you achieve numerous hours of clinical experience and recommendations required in your school application.
As a medical scribe your primary duties will revolve around the medical provider's workday. You will chart patient encounters in real-time using electronic health record systems. By excelling in your role as a scribe you will be helping medical providers focus on patient care, give more thought to complex cases and increase their productivity. You will become a valuable member of the healthcare team and develop meaningful and lasting relationships with medical providers, nurses and technicians.
