Digital Marketing PPC and SEO Internships

What's This All About?

Perfect Search offers Digital Marketing Internships in PPC or SEO that provide interns with experience in a client-facing digital marketing agency.
These internships include responsibilities like learning pay-per-click advertising/search engine marketing (PPC/SEM) and social media advertising or search engine optimization (SEO).
At Perfect Search, we love our interns! In fact, many of our current employees began here as interns. This position is a great stepping stone for professional growth.
Location of Internships: Remote
Duration of internships: Flexible, 3 months preferred (timing TBD based on availability, likely September-November)
Availability: Flexible, min 3 business days/week preferred, must be able to work in United States Central Time Zone business hours for training and meetings.
Available for course credit.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.



What You'll Learn
  • Best practices within search, display, and social media advertising
  • Work within tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Bing Ads, Facebook/Instagram (Meta) Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and more
  • Learn to plan, create, upload, monitor, optimize, manage and report on digital marketing campaigns.
  • Complete tasks crucial for successful digital marketing campaigns, including (but not limited to) conducting keyword research, account keyword builds, client reports, and optimizations within PPC accounts
  • Communication skills, improved through mock calls, contribution in internal meetings, and potential participation in client meetings
  • Work with fun people in a fun atmosphere
  • Best practices in optimizing websites and content for search engine rankings
  • Work within tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, and more.
  • Learn to plan strategy, scan and score websites, write metadata and on-page content, optimize content, create client reports, and more.
  • Complete tasks crucial to improve search engine rankings for client websites
  • Communication skills, improved through mock calls, contribution in internal meetings, and potential participation in client meetings
  • Work with fun people in a fun atmosphere
What You Need

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel and Google Sheets/Docs
  • Strong desire to work in digital marketing, particularly PPC or SEO
  • Working toward or recently finished a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
