ESG Intern
Power Integrations is looking for an intern with background in Environmental Sciences to enrich our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) business practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the VP of Corporate Development and Director of Investor Relations to identify ESG practices and metrics
- Work with various departments to collect data on policies and processes. Develop process to track and benchmark impact of environmentally sustainable business practices and initiatives.
- Identify quantifiable ESG metrics develop methods to track them.
- Collect and compile policies; identify relevant sections and propose updates if necessary
- Conduct research on market practices around ESG
- Communicate findings, results, and proposals to Management
- Become internal subject-matter expert on ESG practices, understand ISS criteria
Minimum Requirements:
- Obtained or working on a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences / Environmental Econ or related field
- Proficient with MS Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent writing and communication skills
Nice-to-Have:
- Self-starter with strong organizational and project management skills
- Knowledge of ESG reporting; familiar with Semiconductor industry
Pay: Up to $26/hour commensurate with experience
