Operations Engineering -Co-Op/Internship

The cloud-based, multi-tenant Notehub provides a flexible, scalable platform for device and event management, event routing, and connected operations. We are a small, passionate team with decades of experience delivering enterprise-grade cloud services and the most powerful, easiest IoT tools on the market. For too long, IoT applications have been overly complex and costly to create, manage, and deploy at scale. We've built our platform from the ground up for simplicity and flexibility at scale. Our current customers use Blues for everything from real-time climate monitoring to connected appliances. With your help, we will maximize the social and commercial potential of the Internet of Things.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Hardware Engineering and Contract Manufacturing to drive the development and manufacturing of our IoT products.
  • Take ownership of small to mid-sized projects with minimal guidance
  • Design, build, and test electrical components and assemblies.
  • Participate in engineering design reviews with internal and external teams
  • Develop and maintain documentation to ensure that manufacturing processes are being followed.
  • Review, analyze, and maintain Manufacturing and Quality KPIs and dashboards.


What You'll Bring

  • Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate in pursuit of an Engineering degree or a related technical field, and in good standing. Electronics engineering is strongly desired.
  • Relevant coursework or lab experience
  • Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing and six sigma
  • Knowledge of soldering techniques and experience/willingness to solder as needed
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Effective multitasking, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with frequent shifts in direction.
