Milwaukee Tool is looking for talented, enthusiastic, and motivated students with creative minds and strong industrial design skills. We work on it all: power tools, hand tools, lighting, safety gear, radios, and more. Join our award-winning, exciting, and innovative design team!
The TOOLS you’ll need to have:
- Thrive in a fast-paced design environment, with the agility to work between several projects concurrently.
- Follow projects from first sketch all the way to production
- Work closely with cross functional teams
- Collaborate with other designers developing ideas through rapid 2D sketching, study models, and 3D CAD.
- Explore fundamental ergonomics. Evaluate concepts for comfort and usability through study models and mock-ups.
- Create communication for design intent to engineering and marketing teams.
- Support comprehensive presentations to multidisciplinary teams.
The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
- Currently pursuing a BS, BA or BFA in Industrial Design
- Dynamic portfolio of product designs, demonstrating process through sketches, renderings, visual thinking, storyboards, and CAD modeling.
- Demonstrate the ability to collaborate in a team environment and handle multiple projects.
- Exceptional professional communication skills.
