Our studio and design process are focused on extensive research, teamwork, support, curiosity, and trust from project inception through project closeout.
 
We are seeking to fill an Interior Design Internship opening in our Wynwood office. The role of an Intern begins with the desire to grow their career by acquiring real world work experience. They will be responsible for supporting the newly launched Interior Design department.
 
Responsibilities
 
·        Research of furnishings, fixtures, fabrics and other selections for interiors and architectural projects as needed.
·        Check availability and pricing of products and materials by communicating with vendors.
·        Contact vendors to request samples.
·        Assist with setting up new accounts with vendors, research potential new vendors to add to our vendor list.
·        Assist in creation, organization, and procurement of materials for the materials library.
·        Assist with space planning and furniture plan implementation with the guidance of design and architectural directors.
·        Attend design meetings as needed and assist with meeting notes.
 
The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications for these positions:
  • 0-1 years of professional experience
  • Pursuing a degree in Interior Design and are in or have completed your junior year or above.
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, detail oriented, energetic some design, graphic, communication, and organizational skills
  • Computer skills preferably include some knowledge of some or all the following: Sketchup, Lumion, Revit, AutoCAD, and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently & collaboratively in our studio.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and have the willingness to commute to our Wynwood Miami Office.
