
Writing Center Front Desk Coordinator
Position Description: CSU Writing Center Coordinator
The CSU Writing Center annually holds thousands of consultations with diverse writers from all disciplines. Writing Center staff are members of a vibrant community of writers. We are a welcoming, friendly place where people, including students, professors, and Fort Collins community members, come to talk about their writing. Writing Center front desk coordinators welcome and guide guests into the Writing Center and assist them with scheduling appointments and accessing feedback on their writing. In addition, front desk coordinators may communicate with other members of the CSU community when necessary.
Responsibilities will be administrative, including:
- Emailing professors
- Maintaining records
- Answering phones
- Greeting clients
- Utilizing a client appointment schedule
Required qualifications
- This is a work study position. Please be sure to upload proof of your award to your application.
- Applicants should have at least five hours of availability to work during our weekday hours (Monday through Thursday, 10am-4pm, and Fridays 10am-1pm).
Salary & Benefits
- Front desk staff will be paid $14/hr
