Software Engineer - Entry Level

Description
The Software Engineer codes software applications based on business requirements. The Software Engineer 1 work assignments are often straightforward and of moderate complexity.

This area focuses on building Application Programming Interface (APIs), data quality and data mastering.

Responsibilities
The Software Engineer standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes. Research issues and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues. Understands own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies and operating standards. Makes decisions regarding own work approach/priorities,and follows direction. Work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 0-3 years of experience in systems analysis and application programming development
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Skilled in NodeJS and/or .NET
  • SQL, MongoDB and Cloud are nice to have
  • Superb communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Cloud Certifications

Work-At-Home Requirements
•   WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
