Theatre Script Librarian
The Theatre Arts Script Librarian will be responsible for managing the archive of all departmental playscripts and musical scores in the script library located on the L2 Level of the RITA. The librarian will work on cultivating ways to access new scripts, manage and inventory the existing digital and physical libraries, and hold open library hours for students to access and check out scripts for audition and educational purposes.
Reports to: Fabrice Conte-Williamson, Chair of the Theatre Department
Responsibilities include:
- Meet with faculty advisor to report on library activities;
- Update and manage library digital and physical inventories;
- Process and document newly added play scripts and scores;
- Upkeep and maintain the library check in/out system;
- Assist students with monologue and play selections when requested;
- Set library hours and be available during those hours;
- Cultivate ways on accessing new scripts for students
