Theatre Marketing and Publicity Intern

The Theatre Arts Marketing and Publicity Intern will be responsible for coordinating the marketing and publicity for all departmental performances, activities, and events throughout the academic year. They are required to collaborate with the department’s faculty marketing liaison to create content and distribution for departmental programing, coordinate online social media output, and the collecting of material for archival purposes. 
 
Reports to: Fabrice Conte-Williamson, Chair of the Theatre Department
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Meet with faculty advisor regularly throughout the semester;
  • Update social media accounts;
  • Produce (or coordinate the production of) original content for social media;
  • Assist with show trailers (recording footage, editing, etc.);
  • Assist with setting up physical dramaturgy lobby display;
  • Assist with collecting designer visuals for virtual lobby display;
  • Pick up posters and programs from Creative Services;
  • Distribute posters and other promotional materials on and off campus;
  • Update D1 glass case with XL posters
