The lead poetry editor of Straylight magazine manages the workflow of all poetry manuscripts, assigns them to team members, and works with those team members on the editing process. They lead one poetry meeting each week, and they speak for their team during the all-staff meeting each week. 

The lead poetry editor also supports events and works closely with the design team on web and print promotions, with a view toward the successful publication of all accepted work.

Successful candidates will demonstrate attention to detail and a command of grammar. Line editing is a must in the position. They will also demonstrate the ability to communicate in a professional manner.
