Adaptive Robotics Lab Research Assistant

Job Description: The student will work on developing novel robotic systems using tensegrity structures. The specific tasks include:
  • Design, fabricate, and test tensegrity structures with rigid struts and elastic cables. 
  • Use the tensegrity structures to develop robotic systems that can have multiple modes of locomotion. 
  • Perform experiments to characterize the robot’s performance. 
  • Summarize the results for scientific paper publications in journals or conferences.
