Digital Marketing Intern

About the Role

SGS is looking to hire a team of passionate Marketing Interns to play a key role over an eight-week, paid, remote internship in one (or more) of the following areas: market research, content writing, and PR. This position will give you an opportunity to collaborate across SGS and our parent company to create compelling new content and identify opportunities to improve the customer journey, increasing our organic traffic and contributing to SGS’ business. Potential projects you might work on:

Market Research & Content Writing
  • Conduct research on market, industry lists, competitors, and new opportunities, as well as share any actions with the team
  • Design, compile, and develop sales enablement / product kits for targeted customer groups, including product sheets, white papers, case studies, demo videos
  • Create materials and update SGS’ company kit, including our elevator pitch, style and branding guide, and PowerPoints
  • Manage, edit, and maintain website content to ensure imagery, messaging, and branding are accurate and reflective of SGS’ mission and values
PR
  • Write and edit blogs, press releases, and additional content for speaking engagements
  • Track website and social media analytics
  • Assist in additional PR activities as needed

About You

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be available to work up to 32 hours per week during entire length of internship (8 weeks) 
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Digital Communications or other related fields
  • Strong collaborator with excellent analytical skills, results oriented, proactive, and self-motivated
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently under pressure with careful attention to detail
  • Familiarity using data to inform social media strategy and/or content creation
  • Experience with MS Office applications (or equivalent, such as Google Docs/Sheets)
  • Experience with WordPress preferred
