The Program Manager (Administrative Officer 2) will provide administrative, clerical, and programmatic support for the Local Farm and Food Innovation (LFFI) project. Under the general direction of the LFFI Regional Director, the Program Manager will coordinate and track the day to day operations of the LFFI project including planning, implementation, monitoring, compiling, and reporting of grant deliverables; tracking and facilitating activities of subaward partners; organizing and facilitating meetings among collaborators; assisting the Regional Director and Business Manager with budget oversight and tracking of local expenses; assisting with purchasing and contracts for procurement and services; collecting data to be used in project evaluation; and preparing data and summaries of activities for grant reporting. The Program Manager will work closely with the Regional Director to ensure timely and effective delivery of LFFI project components, including frequent communication with partner organizations and LFFI personnel conducting activities on subawards. This position will coordinate resource allocation and technology acquisition when relevant and manage external communications such as websites, public calendars, and social media accounts. The Program Manager will ensure that UC and departmental policies and procedures are followed and encourage and participate in training, education and team-building of LFFI personnel.

This position is a career appointment that is 100% fixed.

Pay Scale: $26.75/hour to $35.11/hour

This position will promote, in all ways consistent with the other responsibilities of the position, accomplishment of the Affirmative Action goals established by the Division.
