Associate Territory Manager - Medical Device

Job Description: Medical Device Territory Manager - Southwest Region

Thoracent is a medical device distributor focused on pulmonary products, such as airway stents, which are used to treat diseases of the lungs. We are experiencing significant growth in the Southwest region and are seeking a territory manager to support this growth. As a Territory Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with Interventional Pulmonologists and Thoracic Surgeons within the assigned territory, which includes primarily Arizona and California, with some sales in surrounding states. In this role, you will provide product expertise to healthcare professionals both in-person and virtually. You will work closely with the Area VP of Sales to support existing customers by attending medical cases in the operating room, as well as to identify sales opportunities to further grow the territory.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development: Work closely with the Area VP of Sales to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and provide them with comprehensive product knowledge and hands-on demonstrations. Conduct regular visits and attend medical procedures to drive product adoption and secure new business opportunities.
  2. Account Management: Regularly communicate with existing clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide ongoing support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Marketing and Customer Service, to ensure seamless customer experience and leverage available resources to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Medical sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory- Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Nevada, Colorado
