Civil Designer
Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is currently seeking an experienced Civil Designer for our Land Division in the following locations:
Knightdale, NC
Wilmington, DE.
Georgetown, DE
Laurel, MD
Abingdon, MD
Candidates with the following experience are preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop preliminary design concepts and detailed plans in the areas of site layout, water, sewer mains, roads and storm drain design, soil erosion and sedimentation control plans, construction stormwater plans, floodplain studies, and grading plans.
- Assist Project Managers in the preparation of proposals and other technical documents
- Participate in department meetings; communicate and collaborate with team members on various projects to ensure timely completion
Civil Designer Requirements:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering preferred
- Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Civil 3D a plus
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
