Restaurant Operations is looking for student employees to grow our team for the Fall 2023 semester!
Starting pay $11.00-$11.50/hour based on qualifications!
Meet other student employees, get experience and gain lifelong knowledge in food preparation, grow customer service skills, and develop friendships. All while working conveniently around your schedule with short 3-4 hour shifts that can accumulate up to 25 hours per week!

Dishwasher Duties:
- Essential dish room duties which include:
- Hand washing dishes with dish soap and sanitizer
- Air drying clean dishes
- Putting dishes away
- Taking apart, maintaining, and putting together flight machine
- Maintain sanitation standards
- Additional Cafe Assistant duties which include:
- Assisting with all phases of food preparation for salads, sandwiches, beverages, entrees, soups, and specialty items
- Creating a welcoming environment for guests and providing excellent customer service
- Maintain sanitation standards and portion control per supervisor instructions
- Set up serving stations that include utensils, food, dishes, supplies, and condiments
- Maintain beverage station dispensers and refill as necessary
- Replenish condiments and serving utensils
- Cashiering duties
**This position expects you to perform all or some of the following duties as assigned by the area supervisor. **
Qualifications:
- Individuals are UWM students that are currently enrolled in classes and are willing to learn
- Must be responsible and reliable
- Must have weekend availability
- Can work quickly, accurately, and maintain a pleasant disposition.
- Morning availability (one or two days a week)
- Available to work some nights
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. repeatedly
- Stand for a minimum of 4-hours continuously
- Utilize kitchen tools safely
- Maneuver throughout a kitchen environment
