Brand Marketing Specialist Internship

7Qubes is currently seeking a Brand Marketing Specialist. Applicant should be enthusiastic, resourceful, and genuinely interested in working in a technology start-up with a growing, multi-state footprint.
 
7Qubes is an evolving company, operating in the B2B (business-to-business) space helping provides technical solutions to the problems faced by businesses. We have flexible work hours but are very results-driven. Our work covers everything from marketing campaigns, social media content management, and interacting with vendors and members of our products, you will gain a wealth of opportunities to grow your skills. You will be supporting the products team to help build awareness of our products.

Job Description
Our internship program is designed to launch your career as a Brand Marketing Specialist. This is a remote internship, eligible to candidates within the US. You’ll work directly on real-world projects and build a portfolio that you will not learn in a classroom.

Requirements

• Weekly meetings with an experienced marketer to guide your learning and get your questions answered.
• You will work directly with our brand products delivering analytical market research and digital campaign management services.
• Your learning objectives: web analytics, search engine optimization, written/oral communication, content marketing, market research, and marketing.
 
In this role, you’ll:
• Brainstorm, pitch, and create original content, like blog posts, video scripts, and more.
• Support keyword research and on-page optimization efforts.
• Interview company stakeholders and turn their words into relevant content.
• Stay up to date on the latest content marketing and personal finance trends.
• Support content and calendar workflows and organizations.
• Collect and curate content for distribution channels, like email newsletters.
• Support competitor research efforts.
• Work closely with other teams at 7QUBES, like creative, communications, promotions, lifecycle, and more.
• Work closely with our partners (University of Chicago Polsky Center & Innovation lab, USHCC, IHCC, UIC, DataProducts, ALVCoaching, and more)
• Work in tandem with our sponsors and investors.
• Participate in the learning and development of seminars and online webinars. 
 
Requirements
• You must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
• We look for applicants who are detail-oriented with phenomenal communication skills (written and verbal).
• If you like working with creating content, outsmarting social media algorithms, using Excel, Canva, and Powerpoint, to figure out what they mean, and then explaining your findings to pitch your strategy, you might thrive in our internship. 
• The part-time internship cycles occur over the course of a college semester.
• Knowledge of Adobe’s Creative tools
• Knowledge of using AI generative art tools are encouraged
