Job Description: Z News is a news publication that focuses on reporting news that matters to Generation Z. We are currently seeking a Newscast Script Writer Intern to join our team. As a Newscast Script Writer Intern, you will work closely with our editorial team to develop and write news scripts for our video content. You will be responsible for researching and analyzing current events, interviewing sources, and crafting engaging scripts that resonate with our target audience.
Responsibilities:
Currently pursuing a degree in journalism, communication, or a related field.
- Researching and analyzing current events
- Interviewing sources and gathering information
- Writing clear, concise, and engaging scripts for our video content
- Collaborating with our video production team to ensure scripts align with our visual style
- Editing scripts as needed to improve clarity and flow
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and news to ensure our content is timely and relevant
