Podcast Editor Intern (Summer/Fall Unpaid Internship)
Job Description: Our company is seeking a Podcast Editor Intern who will work closely with our production team to edit and produce high-quality video/audio content for our podcasts. The Podcast Editor Intern will be responsible for editing and mixing raw audio files, adding music and sound effects, and ensuring the final product meets our quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual interested in learning about the production and post-production processes of podcasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Editing and mixing raw audio files using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Adding music and sound effects to enhance the final product.
- Ensuring the final product meets our quality standards by adhering to our production guidelines.
- Working closely with our production team to ensure timely delivery of the final product.
- Communicating effectively with team members to ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding deadlines, goals, and feedback.
Key Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program in a relevant field such as audio production, broadcasting, or journalism.
- Experience with video/audio editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- A strong understanding of audio production concepts such as EQ, compression, and mixing.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
