Junior Architect

Herscoe Hajjar Architects, LLC is looking for an architect who is excited about design, client satisfaction, and most importantly passionate about architecture. Primary responsibilities will include:
• 4+ years architecture experience in residential construction/design
• Ability to design and develop 2D and 3D renderings, as well as creating a virtual reality designs
• Total Image mentality - what works for the client, their style, their everyday functionality
• Team Player - ability to work in a team environment to ensure the vision is accomplished
• Ensuring the project is completed to the vision of our clients
• Accept challenges and solution oriented thinker
• Deliver a full range of project design services at all phases, including programming, space planning, development of interior design concepts, documentation, and construction administration 
• Work alongside team members and consultants through all project phases to deliver projects according to their schedule and budget
• Serve as point of contact for internal and external project communication
• Present design solutions to clients and client representatives
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and consultants
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited university with 4+ years of experience  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suites, and other modeling or rendering software
• Strong Communication skills, including written, verbal and graphic
• Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of building codes and permitting processes
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage assigned tasks on multiple projects simultaneously

• Holds or have interest in pursuing professional licensure and credentials including NCIDQ, AIA, LEED, or WELL
