Artpace Internship Program Information
Artpace seeks self-motivated candidates that can work both independently and collaboratively in a
professional setting. Interns apply their creativity, critical thinking skills, and enthusiasm to a wide
range of projects under the mentorship of Artpace professionals.
Artpace strives to offer interns experience that nurtures a passion for careers in the arts as well as inspiration to incorporate creativity into any career path they choose. Internships will be tailored according to the intern’s goals. This internship is unpaid, but can qualify for school credit per approval from the respective institution.
The general application will place you according to your skills and interests and offers a rotational look at working in an arts organization, allowing you to explore different areas within Artpace.
Internship opportunities are available in the following areas:
Archive & Communications
- Catalog digital and analog archival materials
- Creating and implementing creative social media outreach projects
- Writing, editing, and creating content for digital and print marketing
- Experience with Office Suite, Adobe CS preferred
Administrative
- Conduct prospective donor research; assist in donor affairs & database management
- Help plan fundraising events
Programs
- Help coordinate youth and adult programs
- Conduct research, support program evaluation and data management
- Provide support during public programs and events
Engagement
- Support membership drive initiatives
- Collect event surveys at designated events/meets
- Research downtown community partners and businesses
- Provide support during evening events and building rentals
- Assist in visitor relations duties
Studio/Exhibitions
- Assist resident artists with production of new projects
- Work with technical and studio staff to plan, install, de-install shows
- Prepare for exhibitions, openings, public programs, events, and openings
